Annual General Meeting
Sunday, June 11
4 pm to 7 pm
Come celebrate the vibrant Musquodoboit Harbour (and surrounds!) community at this combined fair, food, music, and AGMs...
The Old School, Musgo Rider, and the Eastern Shore Cooperator are co-sponsoring this three-part afternoon (and concluding the Annual General Meetings of each).
We begin with a collection of local organizations offering conversation, treats, and information about why we live in a beautiful place, full of ways to engage in the community, learn new skills, share your own skills, BELONG.
Then a series of short (VERY SHORT) meetings to approve the boards, and look at the financial reports of each organization.—We promise these will not take any time at all).
And then: Food! Music! Community!
We will have hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, trimmings, and some sides. Local musicians will share their talents. And we will celebrate this wonderful community!
WHO ARE WE?
The Old School Community Gathering Place is a hub for the arts, culture, community health and wellness. A non-profit cooperative, we are based in a Craftsman-style heritage building built in 1924, Musquodoboit Harbour’s former community school. We offer accessible programming to an intergenerational audience, with projects ranging from a youth employment program, to arts and cultural programs, to a food pantry, dance therapy group for seniors, Fibre Friends, and Tai Chi.
Explore our programming through our website, contact us or drop by to learn more about what we can offer.
